After months of preparation and consultation the Cowichan Valley Regional District has issued it's report on a shared vision for the Island Rail Corridor. The report is comprehensive but flawed in it's conclusions. It favours trail beside rail, despite the huge costs and lack of continuity. In addition most First Nations involved have not submitted input. It does make interesting reading, and you can draw your own conclusions from it.
