The Reconciliation Corridor Initiative, a joint study by the Capital Regional District, the Songhees and the Esquimalt First Nations, was announced in December of 2025. Benno & Des discuss the implications for trails, trains and traffic, and the potential problems created by realigning a corridor around the reserves. They also talk about the potential for this study to be a template for other First Nations bisected by the E&N corridor.
