Join us for a Public Open House on September 14th at 10am-2pm! Everyone welcome!

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is excited to announce the upcoming open house and online survey that are being held to gather community input towards the development of a shared vision for the Island Rail Corridor in the CVRD.

The open house will include an opportunity to learn about the corridor’s past, present and future considerations, to see recent video footage of the Island Corridor (produced by the CVRD and BONE Creative Inc.), and share your ideas.

The CVRD’s planning process is one of many that are taking place across Vancouver Island.  This work was initiated by the Province of British Columbia. Five Regional Districts (including the CVRD), provincial and federal governments, First Nations and the Island Corridor Foundation (ICF) are all participating in planning efforts.
